This evaluation report assesses the ‘Public Defender Nepal’ project (2015–2020), led by International Legal Foundation Nepal in partnership with Judges Society Nepal and Public Defender Society of Nepal (PDS-Nepal).
The report evaluates the delivery of free, high-quality legal defense services to indigent accused persons, institutional capacity-building for legal aid advocates, and systemic impact within the Nepalese criminal justice framework.
